About the Role
As our Rural Products Sales Rep, you will be the face of Elders across the Molong region, working directly with local producers, helping them access the products and support they need to succeed. With a strong focus on customer service, sales and support, you’ll build long-term relationships, identify new opportunities, and offer practical, seasonally relevant advice across a broad product range.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines time on the road visiting clients with supporting daily branch operations—including stock control, merchandising, and order fulfilment—to ensure every customer interaction adds value.
Responsibilities
As a Rural Products Sales Representative, you will:
- Develop long-term relationships with growers and agribusiness clients
- Identify sales opportunities and provide practical, product-based advice
- Support accurate inventory management and stock availability
- Coordinate orders, deliveries, and quotes to ensure a seamless client experience
- Contribute to branch targets, team performance, and safe work practices
- Help present a well-organised, welcoming and professional retail environment
About You
To succeed at Elders, you will have:
- Experience in a sales, retail or customer-facing role (agricultural product knowledge highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of seasonal cycles, rural products and local producer needs
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
- Current HR driver’s licence, forklift licence and Agsafe accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
- A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
