Role overview:
- Own the Build, maintenance, and customization of data reporting systems [sales and performance dashboards] independently or in conjunction with region.
- The role will drive ANZ ANI to become a data and customer-centric organization by providing meaningful and compelling analytics, insights and driving efficiencies through automation to drive Business Growth – this will include collaborating with Commercial Business Partners, ensuring accurate market / share forecast for the financial cycles along with providing insights to the category and competitions.
- Besides ANZ ANI, the role will also provide strategic support to Pacific Asia region in terms of enabling on time and accurate market performance updates. This will entail collaborating closely with Division as well as Affiliates Market Insights Teams.
Business outcomes
- Be an analytics and Insights champion for the affiliate and bring the affiliate on an “insight led decision making journey.”
- Bring analytics and insights to particularly support downstream & Upstream - primary care business
- Drive to "so-what’s" by making actionable recommendations routed in deep understanding of marketing, business, and consumer via primary research & business analytics.
- Ability to triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources and come up with clear conclusions.
- Analytics support and sounding board for strategic planning cycles (LBEs, LTP etc.) to build mid/ long term strategy for the affiliate.
Key responsibilities and activities
- Ensure Abbotts commercial data & systems are efficient and enable teams to operate effectively.
- Proactively diagnose the analytical requirements of the sales organization
- Recommend and contribute to tools and technology optimization for increased productivity and effectiveness.
- Develop, implement and maintain clear and usable performance dashboards for sales leaders.
- Be the custodian of 3rd party data such as IQVIA and any other datasets
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decisions across different business streams.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics at the affiliate and regional level.
- Insights Generation: Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for business improvement both through IQVIA and Consumer insights either as a regular or adhoc deliverable.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, operations, and Regional Insights to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Predictive Analytics: Utilize advanced analytical techniques, to forecast business outcomes and inform strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements based on data analysis.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing requests with what is possible/realistic and in alignment with business objectives
