We are a well-established ship chandler based in Western Australia, supplying a wide range of products and equipment to ships calling at local ports. Our team is known for reliability, service, and fast delivery. As our business grows, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salesperson to join us—no prior marine experience required!
Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist with the sale and supply of goods to ships. You will communicate with ship crew and agents, take orders, help prepare deliveries, and follow up with customers. This is a great opportunity to build a career in a niche and fast-moving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers (in person, by phone, and email) to understand and fulfill their needs.
- Help prepare quotes, invoices, and delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team to ensure smooth service.
- Learn about our product range and keep up to date with stock availability.
- Build and maintain good relationships with ship crews and agents.
- Maintain basic sales records and follow-up tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous sales or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
- Willingness to learn about marine products and shipping industry.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time well.
- Able to work independently and in a small team.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Some flexibility in working hours (early mornings or weekends may be required occasionally).

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
