The Salesforce Technology Implementation team at KPMG Australia is a dynamic and innovative group of experts in industry, strategy, technology, and process. Working collaboratively, the team designs and builds end-to-end Salesforce solutions that drive meaningful business transformations. Whether it’s enabling digital lending through Salesforce and nCino, optimising customer relationship management (CRM), or enhancing existing Salesforce implementations, the team specialises in delivering value. Leveraging KPMG’s Powered Enterprise methodology, they integrate leading practises, organisational change management, and tailored training to ensure smooth transitions, measurable outcomes, and enhanced business value. The Salesforce Solution Architect team within KPMG Consulting is part of a broader group of Salesforce specialists. This team focuses on leveraging Salesforce technologies to enable business transformation and deliver value to clients.

Accountabilities
As a Salesforce Solution Architect/Technical Architect, you will:
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery – from initial design to successful implementation and iteration.
- Develop technology roadmaps that align with client operating constraints and priorities.
- Identify the optimal technology stack, ensuring compliance with key non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Define solution features and implementation phases, working collaboratively with Delivery Leads, Architects, Change Leads, Data Migration Leads, Quality Analysts, and Business SMEs to deliver tangible outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending their adoption where beneficial.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and the business impact of existing and proposed solutions, offering innovative strategies to create value for clients.
- Maintain a focus on business transformation through strategic adoption of Salesforce technologies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Experience
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong track record in Salesforce platform implementation, including expertise in data modelling, Salesforce integration, API framework, and web services.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce solutions across core offerings like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community and Education Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical workshops, understand client business requirements, and align solutions to meet business objectives.
- Experience defining and providing technical governance and best practises across the application lifecycle, including design, build, test, and deployment.
- Proven ability to evaluate technical solutions and present options that maximise the value of Salesforce for clients.
- Familiarity with integration platforms and expertise in Salesforce's API framework and related capabilities.
Qualifications
- Advanced Salesforce certifications such as (but not limited to) Certified Admin, Platform App Builder, Application Architect, or System Architect.
- A relevant university degree or equivalent industry-recognised qualifications to demonstrate an exceptional knowledge base in modern technology practises.
