Fortitude Protective Services is seeking experienced and reliable Security Guards to work at licensed venues across Sydney’s CBD. This is a great opportunity to be part of a professional, growing team providing security at high-profile bars, clubs, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a strong security presence at licensed premises
- Ensure patron safety and maintain venue compliance with licensing laws
- Perform ID checks and manage entry points
- Monitor crowd behavior and assist in de-escalating incidents
- Respond to emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally
- Liaise with venue management and emergency services when required
- Complete accurate incident and shift reports
Essential Requirements:
- Current NSW Security Licence (1AC minimum)
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
- First Aid Certification
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in licensed venue security, crowd control, or event security
- Knowledge of Liquor Act compliance and venue entry protocols
- Training in de-escalation, self-defence, or situational awareness
