A bit about your role
The Business Operations & Reporting Manager – Network Engineering plays a pivotal role in enabling strategic alignment and operational excellence across the Network Engineering leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Manager – Portfolio Governance, Improve & Transform and working closely with the EGM of Network Engineering, this role is responsible for producing clear, data-driven executive reports and narratives that translate complex technical input into actionable insights.
The role supports leadership routines through meeting coordination, action tracking, and operational follow-through, fostering collaboration and accountability across the function. With strong stakeholder engagement across senior leaders, technical SMEs, and data analysts, the manager ensures consistent messaging, drives continuous improvement in reporting standards, and contributes to governance and transformation initiatives in a dynamic, technology-led environment..
A bit about you
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with over eight years of experience in business operations, executive reporting, and leadership support. They have a proven track record of working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, particularly in technical or engineering environments, and excel at translating complex input into clear, actionable insights. Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, structured reporting, and meeting facilitation, they bring strong communication, planning, and organisational capabilities.
Adaptable and proactive, they thrive in dynamic, hybrid settings, balancing competing priorities with confidence and delivering high-quality outputs that support strategic decision-making and operational alignment. Familiarity with the Australian telecommunications industry is beneficial, though a strong ability to learn and collaborate is essential.
