As a Senior Subsea Production System / Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Engineer you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful pre-commissioning of subsea production systems, pipelines, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with expertise in pipelines, subsea production equipment, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) processes, and specification writing to industry standards. Practical experience is preferred, and knowledge of CO2 and hydrogen technologies will be an added advantage.

What you’ll do
- Develop and manage pre-commissioning plans for subsea systems, pipelines, and CCS infrastructure.
- Oversee cleaning, testing, and inspection activities to meet project and safety standards.
- Manage pipeline pre-commissioning tasks, including hydrotesting and pigging.
- Ensure construction and fabrication compliance during pre-commissioning.
- Supervise testing and validation of subsea production and CCS systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support FEED.
- Provide hands-on support, mentoring, and troubleshooting for pre-commissioning tasks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Apply expertise in CO₂ and hydrogen technologies to improve pre-commissioning processes.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in subsea production system and pipeline pre-commissioning within the offshore gas energy sector.
- Extensive knowledge of subsea production systems, pipelines, CCS infrastructure, and associated pre-commissioning procedures.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing specifications to industry standards.
- Familiarity with FEED processes and practical pre-commissioning experience.
- Experience with CO2 and hydrogen technologies is advantageous.
