Due to growth in our team we’re looking for a Senior Onshore Pipelines Engineer to join our Brisbane or Melbourne team on a 12 month contract working on a variety of pipeline projects in Australia and PNG at various stages of design and ongoing pipeline impact assessment studies.

What you’ll do
- Applying recognised engineering practices applicable to onshore pipeline design.
- Ensuring design compliance with client’s internal guidelines and procedures, national regulations, environmental constraints, and quality requirements.
- Providing cost and schedule estimates for proposals.
- Planning and execution of pipeline activities to maintain the schedule.
- Mentoring and providing technical directions to team members when required.
- Identifying, assessing, and communicating project delivery risks and assisting in the development of plans and solutions for mitigation and change management.
What you’ll bring
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- RPEQ / RPEV and IEPNG registration.
- Preferably have experience in design and construction of CS pipeline per AS2885.
- Experience in material selection, fracture control plans and line pipe specifications
- Thorough knowledge of the HDPE Gas and Water network design and APGA Code of Practice.
- Proven knowledge of pipeline construction support, Pipeline design reviews, safety management studies and risk reviews, in accordance with APGA CoP and its companion papers, guidelines, procedures, standards and local HSE regulations and environmental constraints.
