THE POSITION:
The Infrastructure Services Division’s Civil Operations Branch is seeking a highly motivated individual that is willing to take on a challenge and be part of a high performing team culture.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day operational tasks of the major and minor projects and programs undertaken by the Infrastructure Services Division. The Site Supervisor provides front-line and planning support to the Project Manager and Coordinator. This includes assisting with the development of project scopes, resource planning, work scheduling, and coordination of job timelines, in addition to managing daily operational tasks on site. The role also ensures efficient site delivery by overseeing the work of contractors, staff, and resources as needed. The Site Supervisor will be required to deal with residents and other members of the community as work progresses, to ensure they are fully informed of work and safety requirements when and where applicable.
The Site Supervisor is also responsible for the supervision of plant, labour, resources and procedures of all aspects of major and minor site projects to ensure acceptable quality, safety and production requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL:
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in Civil Construction / Maintenance work
- Civil - Certificate IV Civil Construction
- Frontline Management Certificate IV or equivalent experience
- WHS General Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Civil Construction Certificate IV – First Aid Certificate
Licenses / Tickets:
- Drivers Licence Class C
- MR and/or HR (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Traffic Controller (RIIWHS205E) and Implement Traffic Control Plans (RIIRIS301E) certifications
DESIRABLE:
- HIAB Ticket
SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
- Permanent full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9-dayfortnight)
- This position is a Grade F, salary range is $ 79,419 p.a. with progression to $ 83,444 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $ 93,028 p.a, plus 12% Super
- A uniform is provided
