Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Social worker who is ready for a new adventure. We provide public health services to approximately 243,228 people across the Riverina, Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and the South Western Slopes of NSW.

About the role:
To deliver high quality social work services to patients in accordance with the ethics and standards established by the Australian Association of Social Workers, the health department, and other relevant bodies. The social worker will provide professional social work services to both patients and families/carers through interventions such as: • psychosocial assessment and care planning
general support counselling
crisis and brief intervention
assistance with practical matters
the provision of information
referral and advocacy
consultation with and referral to community agencies

About You
Our ideal candidate will:

- Hold relevant Australian standard qualification
- Hold current registration with Australian Association of Social workers (or eligible to hold)
