Kinetic is Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most experienced bus operator – and we’re growing. With this growth comes opportunity. We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Specialist to join our Mackay team and help us deliver exceptional service to our customers.
What you’ll do
As a key member of our team, you’ll be the primary liaison between our customers and internal stakeholders – ensuring our services are delivered in line with customer expectations and contractual obligations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing service changes and pricing assessments
- Preparing customer reporting and analysing key KPIs
- Leading the preparation of invoices and ensuring financial accuracy
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders – internal and external
- Ensuring contract compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Supporting key projects to drive operational and commercial outcomes
What you’ll bring
We’re after someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an eye for detail and brings a customer-first mindset. You’ll also bring:
- Experience in customer service and contract administration
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in pricing, data analysis and reporting
- The ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
It’s also great if you have:
- Experience in transport, logistics or similar service-based industries
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
