Employment Basis: CasualPosition Overview: The Student Services Officer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, assisting with enrolments, orientation, and general inquiries. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure the smooth operation of student administration and support services.The successful candidate will also play a key role in organizing and managing student activities for students, ensuring a smooth and engaging student experience.
Key Responsibilities:High-Quality Student Service: Deliver expert support to students, resolving complex course-related matters and addressing inquiries on a wide range of issues, including Translink concessions, campus facilities, course details, holidays, and other student needs.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with corporate clients, academic staff, admissions teams, students, and RTO management, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication in both written and verbal forms.
International Student Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication strategies with international students, ensuring their needs are met and information is consistently provided across all campus and college functions.
Orientation and Enrolment Support: Assist with on-campus student orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, and support the efficient management of student enrolments.
RTO Administration: Perform general RTO administration duties, including electronic and hard copy filing, maintaining student files, and ensuring records are up to date and compliant.
Student Support Channels: Monitor and manage student support channels, including Shafston’s landline and the shared student services mailbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to student inquiries.
Learning Portal and SMS Management: Assist with the management and maintenance of Shafston’s learning portal and Student Management System, ensuring that student data and course materials are up to date and accessible.
Promotion of Best Practices: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within Shafston International College by identifying opportunities for operational enhancements and supporting staff development.

Pay: $43,937.94 – $113,012.02 per year
