Our valued client SMW Group based in Rockhampton is a proud Central Queensland provider of field servicing, maintenance and emergency repair / rebuild services. They have over 10 years' experience servicing the Central Queensland region.
They are seeking experienced Supply and Distribution Manager.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of goods produced by the company.
- Determine, implement and monitor purchases, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
- Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
- Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- Operate recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
- Oversee the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
- Direct staff activities and monitoring their performance
- Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Proven experience in the same field
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Able to work safely with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate quality workmanship which meets or exceeds business requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics

Salary: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super
