THE ROLE
Reporting to the Brisbane Branch Manager, we are looking for a punctual, customer driven Supply Chain Analyst with a positive, can-do attitude who is capable of managing supply and inventory through overseeing the compiling and maintaining of records on the amount, type and value of commodity, to ensure delivery in full on time to customers. This includes working with shippers at origin and consignees to ensure all ethical steps are taken to provide the best shipping routes that meet the urgency of the commodity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Supporting the development of strategies and targets to achieve customer satisfaction and experience.
· Find any gaps/opportunities to help with continuous improvement within the company.
· Evaluate current systems, processes and organizational structures to identify areas for improvement.
· Offer informed recommendations based on thorough analysis to help address operational and strategic challenges.
· Develop and present proposals to improve workflows and innovate procedures.
· Provide knowledgeable training to colleagues and departments across the company to help strengthen skills and understanding across all staff.
· Monitor and manage supply and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
· Coordinate with international and domestic shippers, freight forwarders and consignees to ensure ethical and cost-effective transportation routes aligned with customer urgency and delivery timelines.
· Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement across procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
· Develop and support the implementation of supply chain strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and overall service delivery.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain planning with sales forecasts, production schedules, and customer requirements.
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations with actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
· Design and refine inventory tracking and forecasting systems for better accuracy and responsiveness.
· Provide training and support to internal teams to foster greater understanding and capability in supply chain processes and best practices.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements regarding shipping, storage, and inventory documentation.
· Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to systems, tools, and processes to support operational excellence and scalable growth.

· Leadership experience in inventory control, demand planning, or supply chain operations.
· Proficient in ERP systems, supply chain software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and advanced Excel.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
· Familiarity with international shipping processes, incoterms, and customs regulations is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Business Administration or similar.
· Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics or procurement role.
· Professional certification (e.g. APICS CPIM, CSCP or Six Sigma) is desirable but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
