A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated, team orientated and experienced Supply Manager looking for the next step in their career. Managing a small but nimble team of 6, this role is positioned as a key part of the operational team in a growing and dynamic organisation serving the community of North West Sydney.
The role will focus on effective and efficient supply management to support the hospital, including procurement, warehouse and storage optimisation, logistics and inventory management, compliance with preferred purchasing agreements, supply operations optimisation, ensuring on time performance is delivered to various locations throughout the hospital by improving existing internal processes whilst leading and developing a highly committed team that collaborates closely with the rest of the hospital.

Essential Criteria
- Strong experience in all areas of supply chain, logistics and inventory management with demonstrated success in change management and driving process improvements. Healthcare experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong people leadership skills with impeccable communication and ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a high performing team.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and risk management skills eg. To mitigate against supply chain and WHS issues
- Sound time management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of inventory replenishment principles and best practice supply chain management techniques.
- Disciplined internal control governance with adherence to policies and procedures surrounding best practice and ability to reconcile from procure to pay.
- Proven ability to achieve better spend and deliver on cost savings through efficient inventory management.
- A keen customer service ethos in dealing all stakeholders, with ability to influence others.
- Proficient IT skills and intermediate MS Office eg. Excel skills.
- Tech1 ERP experience beneficial, but not essential.
