Location: Residential Port Hedland position supporting Hedland Operations- Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day, 8:30am - 2:30pm

Looking for a role that fits around family life while making a real impact? Fortescue is offering an exciting opportunity at our Port Hedland Operations for a Sweeper/Watercart Operator. This part-time position has been designed to support those returning to the workforce – especially mums and dads– with hours that align perfectly with the school day.
Key Responsibilities
Keep our port roads and wharf areas clean and safe by operating the sweeper in line with environmental standards.
Operate the watercart to effectively manage dust across site when required.
Play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly and sustainably.
Qualifications and Experience
An MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) is essential, though we can assist with obtaining if needed.
HR licence and previous operator experience are desirable but not mandatory – we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
A strong team player who takes pride in safety, reliability and contributing to a positive work environment.
