Talent Services Lead
- Salary: $113,022 to $136,747 (Plus Superannuation)

- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)
The Role
The Talent Services Lead is responsible for managing a small team, overseeing the delivery of recruitment and employment administration services for the department. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to provide strategic advice on talent-related activities including attraction, sourcing strategies, candidate assessments, and offer management.
The responsibilities of the Talent Services Lead will include:
- Leading and managing the Talent Services team to provide accurate and timely recruitment services in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinating end to end recruitment administration services for the department, which may include providing policy advice, managing online requisitions (via Springboard and eRecruit), developing position descriptions, identifying and implementing attraction and sourcing strategies, posting advertisements, background checking, offer management and ensuring compliance with recruitment processes and agreed timeframes.
- Review and make recommendations to support the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, systems, metrics and reporting, and act as the subject matter expert on the recruitment systems and related processes.
The Team
The position of Talent Services Lead forms a part of the People & Culture branch within the Corporate Services group
The Corporate Services Group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. People & Culture is a multi-disciplinary team which operates within the Corporate Services Group of DJSIR. It is a strategic, tactical and operational function, supporting the achievement of the department's objectives by providing excellent service and trusted advice.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Technical Expertise: Experience in leading and coordinating a volume recruitment administration team, projects and initiatives.
- People Management: Aligns team with the organisational values and goals through effective people management and modelling.
- Planning and Organising: Sets clearly defined objectives and priorities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required.
