Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, diverse team aligned with Westpac’s workforce strategy.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and results.
- Mentor and develop future technology leaders.
- Technology Strategy & Delivery
- Define and maintain the Credit Cards technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead planning and execution of technical solutions with a focus on quality and timeliness.
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to deliver seamless product journeys.
- Architecture & Governance
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and modern engineering practices.
- Uphold regulatory compliance, data privacy, and technology risk controls.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary technology interface for business, compliance, operations and risk.
- Evaluate and manage third-party solutions in line with CTO strategy.
- Innovation & Collaboration
- Champion emerging technologies (AI, frameworks, patterns) to drive growth and efficiency. Provide technical guidance and foster cross-domain collaboration (e.g., Testing, Payments, Data).
