About the role – Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

As a Test Analyst in Lending , you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of systems supporting home loans and residential lending products . Working closely with the Test Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining manual/automated and functional tests across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), with a particular focus on loan origination, assessment, approval, and servicing processes. Your day will include reviewing test coverage, identifying regression gaps, and supporting the testing of complex lending scenarios across multiple systems.
This fast-paced role operates in a dynamic banking environment, requiring strong attention to detail, stakeholder collaboration, and expertise in integration technologies and testing approaches relevant to lending platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Test, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot in distributed environments
- Develop modern object-oriented automation frameworks.
- Review and/or produce detailed test plans, test cases and manual or automated test scripts.
- Perform manual or automated end to end testing, identifying and reporting defects to the Test Lead/Test Manager.
- Identify and automate manual test cases where necessary
- Review requirements, design and architecture documents and provide feedback to stakeholders on completeness, correctness, traceability and testability.
- Develop comprehensive reusable test assets for use in, but not confined to, Unit Testing, System Testing, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT).
- Use exploratory testing to enhance the overall testing capabilities.
- Experience in the following tools and technologies will be highly regarded : Java, Typescript, Rest Assured, Postman, TOSCA, Playwright
- Provide guidance to project test teams on our test standards, guidelines, related processes, templates and work instructions.
About you
You will have at least two years of experience in software testing, preferably within a banking or financial services environment with a focus on lending systems . You’re comfortable navigating complex loan products and understand the end-to-end lifecycle of home and residential loans. Experience with loan origination platforms, credit assessment engines, serviceability calculators will be highly valued.
You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to evolving requirements. Your strength lies in structured, risk-based testing and stakeholder collaboration. While manual and functional testing is your core skill set, experience in automation frameworks is highly regarded.
