Therapeutic House Supervisor – Intensive Therapeutic Care

Are you ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? CatholicCare’s Permanency Support Program is expanding, and we’re looking for passionate Leaders to join our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) team.
As a Therapeutic House Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of a trauma-informed, healing-focused environment—guiding a dedicated team and supporting young people who’ve experienced significant adversity. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to be a mentor, a role model, and a catalyst for positive change.
What Your Days Will Look Like:
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of a therapeutic residential home in Sydney Metro region.
- Mentor and coach Youth Workers, helping them grow into confident, capable professionals.
- Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance with child protection and safety standards.
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and young people in your care.
- Collaborate with a passionate team and agency leadership to deliver exceptional care.
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Welfare (or a related diploma plus a graduate certificate in trauma or child protection).
- At least 3 years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience in a care or support setting.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed care, child protection, and crisis management.
- A current Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 to increase your take-home pay.
