The Role
SRG Global is currently seeking a Trade Assistant to join our team located in Gladstone, QLD on a permanent full-time basis.
As a Trade Assistant, your role will be to assist and perform a range of trade and maintenance support tasks to support our site-based teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sites including organising work areas, cleaning up after jobs, ensuring tools and materials are ready for use
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment as instructed
- Provide support to onsite work crew and tradesmen
- Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements
- Perform other general duties as directed by the Site Supervisor, within your level of competence
The successful applicant will have:
- Current driver’s license
- Construction card (white or blue card)
- Working safely at heights
- Confined spaces
- Elevating work platform (desirable)
- Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant
- Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of a drug & alcohol screen
