SASMAR is seeking a creative and results-oriented Trade Marketing Specialist to increase product visibility and availability within the supply chain. As a reputable pharmaceutical company specialising in personal care and fertility products, including our noted Conceive Plus brand, we are dedicated to expanding our footprint in global markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and incentivize retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to promote and sell products more effectively. You will collaborate with sales teams and external partners to maximise market penetration and optimize promotional efforts across various retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies that align with company objectives and target key markets.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create impactful promotions and in-store campaigns that drive consumer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and customer insights to inform trade marketing activities and optimize performance.
- Manage budgets for trade marketing initiatives and track return on investment.
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials for sales meetings and trade shows.
- Work closely with external stakeholders, including distributors and retailers, to enhance product distribution and visibility.
- Measure the effectiveness of trade promotional activities and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in trade marketing or related roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, building strong relationships with key players in the distribution network, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of promotional strategies and consumer behavior.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite and marketing analysis tools.
- A collaborative spirit and strong project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
