We are seeking two reliable and hard-working employeers to join our team as a Trades Assistant and Templater at All in Stone in Bundaberg, Queensland. These are full-time opportunities to work in a team to deliver high-quality stone benchtops to both new and existing homes. Our business has grown significantly over the past few years and as a result we require additional staff to meet the needs of the industry.
Trades Assistant - What you'll be doing
- Safely operating hand and power tools to perform tasks such as gluing stone, machinery operation and other duties related to manufacturing of benchtops
- Assisting with the loading/unloading and installation of benchtops
- Full training will be provided
Templater - What you'll be doing
(This is a Job Share role and will suit a person with a cabinetmaking background)
- Laser measuring benchtops on-site
- Reading plans and ensuring accuracy of measurements
- Problem solving any stone or cabinetry issues that could affect installation
- Safely operating hand and power tools to perform tasks such as gluing stone, polishing and other duties related to manufacturing of benchtops
- Full training will be provided
What we're looking for
- Some experience in a labourer or trades assistant role, preferably in the construction or stone masonry industry
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Good physical fitness as some heavy lifting is involved
- Drivers Licence and Construction White Card is essential
