Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
TRADES ASSISTANT – WATER & WASTEWATER (Permanent)
The purpose of the Trades Assistant – Water and Wastewater is to construct, operate and maintain Council’s water and Wastewater supply system to relevant standards in a safe, economical and proficient manner using the equipment and materials supplied.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require an Australian Driver license and a White Card/General Construction Induction training card. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.
Skills required: The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to complete laboring duties, operate small plant and equipment and be able to use mobile devices.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $60,276.32 to $66,307.28 (Grade 5). Rostered day off once a fortnight.
