In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of customised training and educational resources for Williams Training Services.
You will contribute to the planning, and regular updating of materials that align with the Group’s training frameworks.
The Role:
- Deliver nationally accredited training in Work Health and Safety and/or construction (e.g. White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Manual Handling, CPR, First Aid, LVR, etc.)
- Deliver multiple interactive and engaging training sessions that capture the attention of the participants.
- Facilitate engaging, learner-centered training sessions in face-to-face and blended learning environments.
- Lead hands-on practical sessions where participants can apply skills in simulated scenarios.
- Create and facilitate role-playing exercises and case studies tailored to the specific challenges faced by the participants.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to participants, such as access to additional materials, reference guides, and contact information for follow-up questions.
- Ability to adapt and accommodate individual student needs and are consistent in achieving goals, in a supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility.
- Ensure compliance with RTO and ASQA standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Current TAE40122 or TAE40116 or TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Hands on experience in either trade or construction industry (essential)
- Must be able to obtain Working with Children Clearance
- Must be able to obtain Police Clearance
- Work Licences (e.g., Elevated Work Platform) (desirable)
- Construction Induction (White Card) (desirable)
- First Aid, CPR and LVR Certification (desirable)
- Mentoring young people
- Demonstrated ability as a team player
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Time management skills, including ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines within established timeframes
