Trainer and Assessor - Trade Specialist
Are you passionate about empowering others through hands-on learning? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer and Assessor - Trade Specialist in our Training team.
About the role
- Monday to Friday at Perth WAC Head Office.
- Coordinate and execute training and assessment in accordance with Macmahon training standards and sitespecific training plan.
- Develop, monitor and maintain proficiency for operation of equipment to a high standard.
- Identify any out of date, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site training material and bring to the attention of the Training Supervisor.
- Actively participate in professional development activities on an ongoing basis.
- Generate regular (weekly) training forecasts in consultation with Supervision levels, training compliance reports and other ad hoc training reports and evaluations when requested (Training Matrix, Compliance report and training forecast to be displayed in crib hut and Supervisors office). This information is to then be represented on a SiteTraining Calendar.
- Ensure that information about a candidate/ trainee will not be disclosed to a third party without written consent; except as required for operational reasons, the VET Quality Framework or by law.
- Record accurate details of trainees and the units they have demonstrated competency.
About you
- Cert IV Trainer Assessor essential.
- Caterpillar product knowledge an advantage.
- Currency of Mobile Plant Mechanic.
- Delivering AUR training package material.
- Development of AUR training material.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Adaptability to learn and support new and quickly changing technologies.
