Trust & Foundation Manager
Permanent Part Time position (22.8 hours per week)
Cabrini Malvern hospital location with some WFH flexibility

About the role
The Cabrini Foundation supports vital healthcare services and future medical professionals by enabling community giving through donations, grants, and bequests. These funds help Cabrini invest in advanced equipment, research, and major projects to deliver exceptional care now and into the future.
An opportunity is available for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join the team and play a key role in securing and managing funding partnerships that support vital health and outreach programs. This impactful role combines relationship management, grant writing, and strategic planning across both Cabrini Health and Cabrini Outreach Limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with charitable trusts, foundations, PAFs, and relevant partners.
- Ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and engagement with funders.
- Researching and identifying suitable funding opportunities and preparing compelling grant submissions.
- Managing a pipeline of applications, payments, and acquittals to ensure clear reporting and accountability.
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated, results-focused professional with the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in fundraising, business development, or health promotion.
- A strong background in grant writing, preferably in the health sector.
- Demonstrated success in developing a philanthropic grants program in a similar organisation.
- Experience evaluating and researching health-related and research-focused projects.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Outstanding project management and organisational capabilities.
- Familiarity with financial systems, budgeting, and government regulations for Trusts and Foundations.
- Solid understanding of philanthropic and grant-making sectors, particularly in Victoria
