An exciting opportunity has become available for a Village Manager to lead our dedicated team at Timberside Villas, nestled in the heart of Woodvale.
Located next to Woodvale Boulevard Shopping Centre and close to Whitfords train station, Timberside offers convenience and connection. From nearby nature trails at Yellagonga Regional Park to the Joondalup Resort Golf Course, the location enhances the lifestyle our residents enjoy—and you help make that lifestyle possible.
You’ll oversee a range of amenities including a swimming pool, gym, bowling green, lounge, and hair salon, while coordinating a vibrant calendar of social events and activities. Your leadership ensures these experiences are not only well-organised but also inclusive and enriching.
More than just managing operations, you’ll foster a culture of care, respect, and community spirit. You’ll work closely with residents, staff, and service providers to maintain high standards and respond to the evolving needs of the village. - Lead with Heart: Lead a passionate team of staff who share your commitment to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents.
- Experience in roles focused on community connection and engagement would be highly regarded
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial reporting, is highly desirable and would be a valuable asset in this role
- Proven experience in asset management, ideally within property, facilities, or retirement living
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to resident wellbeing
- Experienced in operational management, with strong organisational, consultative and negotiation skills
- Have excellent computer skills (confident with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and various online applications)
- Resilient and a problem-solver who can think on your feet and handle challenges with grace
- Customer-centric, always putting the needs and satisfaction of residents first
- A people person with a genuine love for working with seniors
- Compassionate, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of independent living seniors
