About the VP - Business Systems and AI Enablement role…
As the VP, Business Systems and AI Enablement, you will be responsible for enabling
SiteMinder’s end to end operations with technology and Artificial Intelligence to improve
customer experiences and staff effectiveness. You will partner with operational functions such
as Sales, Support, Marketing, Finance and People to deeply understand their needs and
provide strategic advice. You will use your knowledge of the best SASS technologies to design,
deliver and operate solutions that have real impact on the performance of the business. You will
be a thought leader in the use of the latest Artificial Intelligence tools as they relate to a modern and globally distributed workforce, and also lead the trial and adoption of the most impactful solutions.
This role will report to the Chief Technology Officer and require strong engagement with other
executives and senior leaders including Chief Operations Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.
What you’ll do…
Be a trusted partner for our operations functions
Develop trusted working relationships with executives and senior leaders.
Deeply understand stakeholder pain points and future needs.
Take a customer centric approach to prioritisation and resource allocation.
Develop SiteMinder’s Business Systems and AI Enablement strategy
Develop a strategy to super-charge our operations with technology and AI
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends related to staff tooling (e.g. CRM,
ERP. etc)Be a thought leader and the go to person for AI tools and staff AI enablement
Develop options and business cases that balance cost and benefit
Set the architecture vision for business systems and track progress, working
closely with the architecture function
Deliver impactful initiatives that bring the strategy to life
Work with your team, partners and across the business to deliver a complex
portfolio of initiativesWork with Engineering to build robust integrations between our products and our
Business SystemsSelect solution and delivery partners that meet SiteMinder’s needs and which fit
into the existing ecosystemCarefully manage the rollout with appropriate quality checks, training and change
managementDeliver predictably on time and on budget
Track real impact and experienced benefits to ensure end to end success
Lead a globally dispersed team
Lead a team of approximately 30 people, which are located in multiple countries
Line manage, mentor and support your team to drive performance
Build and develop your team to improve capability.
Operate and support SiteMinder’s Business Systems
Operate the SASS technology environment, which includes SalesForce, Zuora,
Google Workspace, Slack, Intercom and many moreEnsure systems are available 24/7
Manage issues and incidents in a proactive manner
Optimise operational spend and negotiate contracts
Maintain constructive relationships with vendors and partners
What you have…
Extensive years of experience in Business Systems, with wide experience in leadership roles.
Extensive expertise in architecting, building, integrating and operating SAAS solutions.
Track record delivering complex programs of work.
Passion for driving innovation in Business Systems and using the latest AI tools.
Experience with the SalesForce ecosystem is highly desirable.
Customer centric mindset.
Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable partnering with executives.
Proven track record in building and scaling globally dispersed teams.
Strong experience in hiring, mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
