The Role:
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the Chiller section of our Brisbane warehouse, located in Acacia Ridge.
In this role, you will supervise a team of up to 20 staff and be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
This is a day shift position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing warehouse floor, forklift drivers and stock on site.
- Co-ordinating the loading, unloading, handling & consolidation of perishable goods.
- Ensuring all timeslot requirements are met.
- Timely completion of paperwork and reporting.
- Lead staff hands on and by example.
- Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the workplace
To be successful for this role applicant must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role supervisory role ideally in a Warehouse environment.
- Inventory management.
- Current & valid Forklift licence
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff effectively.
- Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods.
- Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Flexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities.
- Solid computer skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
