Activities Officer

Located at Bolton Clarke's Westhaven Residential Aged Care Home located in Toowoomba, Brisbane

We are looking for part-time Activities Officer's to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs

Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our activities officers facilitate this through:

• Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
• Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
• Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs

Requirements for this role

• Experience in an Aged Care or supporting Residents with lifestyle and leisure programs
• Min Cert III in Aged Care is essential
• High level of English verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as participate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Positive and professional work style.
• Genuine interest in working within Aged Care.
