About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Family Health Services (CaFHS) team as an Administration Officer, where you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers both in-person and via telephone, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Providing accurate, timely information regarding services offered by the Child and Family Health Service Division, tailored to customer needs.
- Direct enquiries to appropriate staff and monitor staff availability to maintain efficient service flow.
- Maintain effective communication and positive relationships with internal staff, external customers, and service providers across the region.
- Process all customer enquiries accurately and efficiently while upholding high standards of customer service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff, external agencies and members of the public, both face-to-face and over the telephone, demonstrating a respect for different cultural groups and life situations.
- Ability to quickly learn administration tasks and adapt to different working environments.
- Experience working in a demanding frontline customer service position within a Health Service.
- Maintain sensitivity, integrity and confidentiality.
- Able to adhere to administrative boundaries, including directing inquiries to clinically trained colleagues as required
