About The Role
As the Office Administrator in Student Services, you will provide high-level administrative support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the school. You will manage student attendance, maintain accurate records, and assist with scheduling and enquiries from parents and the community. The role involves following set procedures while working independently across routine administrative tasks. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will support a high standard of service within the school environment.
Your Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Administration duties as directed by the BM, including front counter tasks and assisting team members as required.
Provide confidential, high-level administrative support, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications, and utilise a number of computing programs.
Schedule appointments, coordinate and organise meetings, book rooms, and maintain diaries.
Assist with daily student attendance processes.
Maintain student information records and ensure student files are kept up to date.
Monitor and screen incoming telephone calls and correspondence to the office, and direct them to the appropriate areas when necessary.
Liaise with school parents, carers, and the community regarding absences and detentions.
Perform archiving and file maintenance.
General high-level administrative skills are required for our fast-paced office environment.
