Builders Academy Australia (BAA) is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Admissions Officer to join our dynamic Student Support Services team in the heart of Melbourne.

We provide nationally recognised qualifications in trades, construction management, sales, WHS and more, with delivery models ranging from classroom-based to virtual and on-the-job training.
Your Role
As an Admissions Officer, you’ll play a critical role in guiding prospective students from enquiry to enrolment, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience throughout their learning journey. This is a fast-paced, customer-centric role with a strong focus on administration, compliance, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert enquiries and registrations into successful student enrolments
- Provide accurate course advice and assess student eligibility
- Conduct pre-training reviews and complete enrolments over the phone
- Ensure data accuracy across systems such as VETtrak, VETenrol, Canvas, and Salesforce
- Deliver exceptional service via inbound/outbound calls and web enquiries
- Process and verify enrolment paperwork for compliance
- Meet daily performance targets and KPIs
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Compliance, and Training Delivery
About You
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Experience in an RTO or administrative role (preferred)
- Knowledge of vocational funding models (Skills First, VET Student Loans, etc.)
- Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM/Student Management Systems (VETtrak experience ideal)
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Certificate III in Business/Customer Contact or similar (Cert IV TAE desirable)
