Are you passionate about community building and creating meaningful relationships? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Alumni Relations Coordinator to join our Advancement Team. In this role, you will play a key part in nurturing and strengthening our connections with our alumni through creative events, programs, and strategic initiatives, all while supporting our School’s philanthropic and community objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver a dynamic program of alumni engagement activities and events aligned with the School’s strategic goals
- Build and nurture strong relationships with our alumni community, increasing their involvement and support
- Organise reunions, professional networking events, and the annual Past Staff Reunion
- Manage the alumni database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Communicate effectively across multiple channels including social media, The Crest, and the School website
- Collaborate with interstate and international Chapter groups to expand engagement opportunities
- Work alongside volunteers and archivists to create meaningful event experiences and exhibitions
- Identify potential donors and strategic partners to support fundraising initiatives
- Assist in developing a long-term Alumni Engagement Strategy, including activity planning and budgeting
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of alumni programs, using data to continuously improve outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of alumni relations best practices, ideally within an educational setting, and an understanding of its link to fundraising
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
- Strong initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management capabilities, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, comfortable leading or supporting teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Potentiality software is a plus
