As we continue to grow in the utilities space, we’re looking to expand our presence in Queensland with a key bids and marketing hire. We are growing across our utility design and underbore design capabilities.
The Role
We’re seeking a Bid Support and Marketing Officer to join our team and support our Directors and Business Development Manager in preparing compelling bid submissions and marketing materials. You’ll play a key role in helping FJA present itself clearly, professionally, and creatively across both online and face-to-face channels.
This is a part-time role, working 5 hours per day with the number of days per week to be agreed. We welcome candidates based in Sydney or Brisbane, with flexibility for hybrid or remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of EOIs, tenders, and capability statements
- Maintain and update company marketing collateral, project sheets, and CV templates
- Coordinate written and visual content for social media (particularly LinkedIn) and our website
- Support Directors and BDM in preparing for face-to-face meetings, presentations, and events
- Help manage our content calendar, submissions register, and asset library
- Contribute to award submissions and industry engagement activities
- Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all materials
You’ll Bring
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar bid or marketing coordination role
- Strong written and editing skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in formatting and document presentation (Adobe InDesign or similar desirable)
- Experience with digital content creation and scheduling (LinkedIn, CMS tools)
- Excellent time management and a proactive, organised work style
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- An interest in infrastructure, engineering, or construction industries

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
