We’re excited to welcome a new Billing Officer to our Customer & Innovation group! This is a 12-month temporary role, offering a great opportunity to gain experience and make an impact in a supportive team environment.

customers and appropriately shaping our services
This position provides a wide range of high quality, customer focused and efficient administrative and support services to assist the effective operations of the Revenue Services Team. The primary purpose of your role will be investigation of meter readings and metering anomalies.
Some of your accountabilities will include:
Apply, cleanse, and review readings to ensure Urban Utilities complies with legislative and business obligations to minimise revenue loss and deliver a positive customer experience to our customers.
Develop working knowledge of the Urban Utilities policies and procedures and regulatory codes relevant to Revenue Services processes, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
Carry out a range of customer service activities, including handling customer cases and enquiries that are more complex or outside the norm .
Use the internal and external communications systems to access specific information in relation to customer accounts and investigations required to resolve customer issues.
Enter relevant information into the CRM and Hiafinity systems after each interaction with a customer or account to ensure that the organisation has quality data to enable effective customer service.
About You:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
You have a demonstrated track record of building strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
Engages with internal stakeholder groups to problem solve and find mutually beneficial outcomes.
Billing and metering experience is highly desirable.
