A bit about your role
The Business Operations team is responsible for providing centralised business management support for the Networks business unit. This includes delivering executive writing and content for both internal and external forums, driving effective governance and the development of the Networks Risk capability.
As Business Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in the Business Operations Team and the broader Networks organisation. You will drive alignment across senior leadership and ensure structured delivery of business activities. A crucial aspect of this role involves crafting executive reports with compelling narratives that clearly communicate insights to executive teams. Collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders is essential to align reporting with strategic objectives, ensuring data quality and integrity.
You will also oversee cross-functional engagement, develop frameworks and templates, and provide guidance to stakeholders. Strong organisational and program management skills are essential to succeed in this role.
A bit about you
We’re ideally looking for a tertiary-qualified professional in business, finance, or a related field with experience in business or operations management, ideally within telecommunications or a high-tech environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in producing and delivering executive level reports, navigating complex operating models, and managing teams in both direct and matrix structures.
This role requires advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), excellent stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive process efficiency. Strong planning, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence outcomes at senior levels. The candidate should also be a team player with a positive outlook and capable of working in dynamic environments.
