Coordinate and support standard business and administrative procedures ensuring systems are effectively communicated and applied across the branch.
Build strong working relationships with peers, key stakeholders and across the branch more broadly.
Ensure monthly network meetings are effectively coordinated and relevant items are discussed with actions actively managed through to resolve.
Ensure that significant issues or events, often of a confidential and sensitive political nature, are managed effectively, determining the extent to which matters should be escalated and collaborating with the most appropriate groups and resources internal and external to achieve required outcomes.
Proactively coordinate the budget, human resource, procurement and asset management functions for business units within the Branch.
About you
We are searching for someone who has a:
Proven ability to provide expert advice to managers and staff in the delivery of business services and the measurement of business performance
Ability to apply expert knowledge of policies and practices for finance, human resources and records management
Knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of business support and business performance measurement and reporting procedures in a large complex public sector service delivery organisation
Ability to analyse business performance data, identify trends and exceptions, and identify options to achieve required performance levels
Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to apply those in an administrative management role
