About the role:

Join a transformative, high-impact program that is driving improvements in healthcare data quality across NSW. The project involves developing 17 prioritized costing activity data extractions and integrations with various service data sources across NSW Health. This phase aims to deliver standardized data extracts, formatted for seamless integration with the State-wide costing platform PPM3 and the overall costing process. Key activities include negotiating statewide data extraction with data custodians, rolling out a data quality improvement strategy, and securing buy-in from those custodians. The integration automation will be deployed to Local Health Districts (LHDs), Specialty Health Networks (SHNs), and Agencies, accompanied by changes to existing workflows. To support this transition, tailored change strategies will be implemented to minimize resistance and promote successful adoption.
What you’ll be doing
The Change Adoption Lead is responsible for designing and implementing the change strategy to support the Costing Transformation Program. This role leads key stakeholder discussions and provides effective communication, both through documentation and verbal engagement. The Change Adoption Lead ensures that the changes, their impacts, and the long-term benefits are clearly understood by stakeholders. A critical focus is to secure full endorsement and engagement from data custodians and the NSW costing community to ensure the successful implementation of program objectives.
- Collaborate with LHD's and SHN's to develop, plan and provide support for Costing Transformation projects.
- Provide leadership and coaching to LHD's and SHN's project teams and key stakeholders so that they can effectively identify and manage operational change for staff.
- Develop and implement change management activities for the Costing Transformation products. This includes scoping, developing and introducing the change at lead sites
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance organisational capabilities to manage change in a continuous improvement service delivery environment.
- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration and the exchange of information to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.
- Work with key stakeholders to analyse critical change impacts that will influence the project's success and facilitate the development of strategies and tactics to address these.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Experience managing a medium-large organisational change in an enterprise organisation. Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders, vendors and customers, and actioning activities to manage the change, to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Experience in applying a change management approach, and being adaptable to changing an approach, to successfully deliver a program of change.
- Demonstrated experience coaching staff to foster a performance-based and customer-focused work culture.
- Highly developed interpersonal, facilitation and negotiation skills with a diverse range of internal and external key stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills with a capacity to prioritise, achieve business goals, and always work with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation and presentations in a timely manner
