Community Infrastructure Planner
Location: Stirling, Western Australia
Type: Max-Term Full-Time (maternity leave cover) - Commencing in November 2025, until 27 November 2026.
Salary: $96,731.43 per annum + Superannuation

We’re currently investing in community infrastructure and looking for a skilled and strategic Community Infrastructure Planner to help shape the future of sport, recreation, leisure, and public open space across the City.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead strategic planning for sport, recreation, leisure, and public open space projects
- Conduct high-level research and stakeholder engagement
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and project plans
- Prepare and acquit grant applications
- Provide strategic advice to internal teams and elected members
- Coordinate capital and operational budgets
- Monitor industry trends and community needs to inform planning
- Support long-term sustainability of community clubs and groups
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced planner who’s passionate about community infrastructure. You’ll ideally bring:
- A tertiary qualification in sport, recreation, urban design, planning or a related field
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of sustainability principles and industry trends
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Teams
- A current National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
