About the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL)
SAASL is the governing body of amateur soccer in South Australia promoting and developing the amateur game throughout the State. We were established in 1965 and are a not-for-profit organisation, focused on providing a well-managed, cost-effective competition to our community-based clubs across South Australia.

The Competition & Facility Coordinator makes sure SAASL competitions run smoothly and our main facilities at Grange and Pennington are well looked after. It's a hands-on role that mixes running competitions with managing the venues, so everything works seamlessly. Key activities include the below:
- Coordinate competitions - fixtures, results, ladders, and finals
- Administer team entries, player registrations, and match data in Dribl & PlayFootball
- Be a key point of contact for clubs and provide excellent service
- Manage facility bookings, compliance, and maintenance schedules
- Support the delivery of new competition formats and community programs
- Experience in sports administration, competition coordination, or venue management
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Great communicator with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency with sports management systems (e.g., Dribl, PlayFootball, SportsTG)
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with group, stakeholders, and service providers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and perform on-call duties
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A genuine interest in working in sport (understanding soccer is a plus!)
