Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to support operations at a major aviation precinct. This is a hands-on role focused on administrative coordination, contractor liaison, and ensuring timely delivery of facilities services in a high-security, fast-paced environment.
Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to support operational excellence and compliance while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration and coordination of facilities services
- Manage work orders and contractor communications in line with agreed service levels
- Assist with scheduling and reporting of maintenance activities
- Support financial administration including purchase orders and invoicing
- Ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in facilities coordination, office management or similar administrative role
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and task prioritisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident working with job management systems and MS Office suite
- Ability to work on-site at a high-security location; aviation sector experience advantageous
