We are currently recruiting experienced and caring Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in participants' homes and the wider community. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours and long-term employment while contributing positively to people’s lives.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting participants with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation. You will work under an individualized care plan and within a collaborative team environment to help clients maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Support participants in accessing the community (appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities)
- Promote independence and individual choice in daily activities
- Work regular part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as per a set roster
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow NDIS requirements

Selection Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability, aged care, or community health (essential)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (within 12 months)
- Valid Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Current driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- COVID-19 vaccination (as per health regulations)
