An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualized care and support to participants in their houses and meet their goals.
As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to Participants
- Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry.
- Provide social and transportation support, including driving Participants to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping.
- Candidate must be able to work varied shifts, seven days per week, with varying shift hours. Flexible roster.
Selection Criteria:
- Experience in the community health sector
- Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care or Experience working in the disability sector ( if applicable )
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old
- Current Full Driver’s License
- Current Covid-19 Immunisation Certificate
- NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain )
Job Types: Casual
Salary: $36.50 per hour
