Important update on role location: this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Event Strategy and Delivery (ESD) Branch during a period of growth and transition. Initially based at 530 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, the position will relocate to the new office at 465 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne. The new location will become the primary workplace for the ESD branch from January 2026, with some teams transitioning ahead of this date.

What you will be doing

This role will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in electoral data to ensure accuracy, currency and integrity of the Victorian Register of Electors.
  • Investigating and resolving enrolment matters in support of the work of the Roll Management division.
  • Providing accurate and high-quality customer service in response to enrolment enquiries.
  • Liaising with internal and external agencies in relation to enrolment matters.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of valuable customer service.
  • Strong analytical, data and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply business processes during daily work activities, and the ability to adapt to changes to business processes when required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment, while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to support work outcomes.
  • An understanding of electoral enrolment in an Australian jurisdiction is preferred but not essential.
