We’re excited to announce the reopening of the iconic Metropolitan Hotel and are on the lookout for an Events Coordinator to join us on this journey. This is a pivotal role for the right person, with genuine opportunities for career progression as our group has ambitious plans for expansion in the years ahead.
About the Role
As our Events Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind all things events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary contact for all external event inquiries and bookings.
- Managing and coordinating private functions and corporate events with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the venue as a premier events space.
- Building relationships with local businesses, offices, and community groups to secure new bookings.
- Assisting in the planning, promotion, and delivery of upcoming large-scale events, including the launch of our second-floor nightclub (capacity ~165), opening just two months after we reopen. This will feature DJs, themed nights, and a dynamic calendar of entertainment.
