About the Role
Collect, collate and process payments and receipts and undertake general accounting functions to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, legitimacy and effectiveness of the service consistent with standards, internal controls, and adherence to accounting procedures and delegations of authority.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Financial Services Officer you will:
- Process accounts payable transactions for all entities within icare and maintenance of a high standard of service, accuracy and internal control.
- Identify and recommend potential areas for improvement relating to business processes, workflows, tools and customer service, and the implications of implementing operational change.
- Input and update data to support the maintenance of statistics on service delivery.
- Generate Monthly customer statements showing outstanding balances and account status
- Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures within the Financial Management & Treasury Team.
- Respond to enquiries by staff and suppliers/customers and escalate more difficult matters and any matters in dispute to the Team Leader.
Skills & Experience
- Current experience in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable/receivable functions and/or financial accounting.
- Working knowledge within Kofax (or other OCR software), Sun, Navigator is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills and ability to work within a team.
