We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Support Analyst to join our team.
About the Opportunity
As a Financial Systems Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the IBM Planning Analytics system, which supports Group reporting, budgeting, forecasting models and finance business intelligence. This includes maintaining and administering the system, managing security and user support, ensuring data integrity with source systems and overseeing financial models and reports. You will also provide finance-related ERP and network access administration support services.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Maintain the IBM Planning Analytics system, ensuring availability, security, documentation, and performance of routine tasks such as backups and upgrades
- Manage system changes, issues, and user licenses, ensuring proper testing and control
- Maintain reporting, planning, and forecasting models to ensure accuracy and insight
- Collaborate with the finance support team to develop and maintain efficient models and accurate reports
- Update finance data cubes and verify data integrity with source systems
- Provide ERP finance administration support, including cost centre and reporting hierarchy maintenance
- Manage finance network access controls and ensure appropriate data access
- Support users by resolving system issues and delivering change requests efficiently
- Coordinate and deliver IBM Planning Analytics user training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure systems meet business needs
What you’ll need to be successful:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting IBM Planning Analytics or similar multi-dimensional database systems
- At least 3 years’ experience providing ERP finance administration support
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Finance, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Desirable:
- Functional knowledge of finance operations, including management reporting, planning, forecasting, general ledger accounting, and consolidation
- Advanced knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Experience with SAP ERP
- Familiarity with systems design
- Project management experience
