We're seeking a Health Management Superintendent to lead and coordinate our health management function across the business. This role is key to supporting safe and sustainable work through effective rehabilitation outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of Group-wide health initiatives.

Your Role in Action
- Coordinate Health and Injury Management: Partner closely with the Manager Workers Compensation and Injury Management teams to deliver effective workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
- Use Data to Drive Prevention: Analyse health and injury trends to inform early intervention and prevention strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and safer work environments.
- Engage Stakeholders for Better Outcomes: Coordinate with internal teams, injured employees, and external providers to align rehabilitation plans and keep all stakeholders informed and supported throughout recovery.
- Ensure Legal and Code Compliance: Maintain compliance with WHS regulations, National Rail Safety standards, and industry codes—keeping practices aligned with current legislation and Wilmar policies
- Manage Medical Assessments with a Risk-Based Approach: Design and manage pre-employment and periodic health assessments aligned with job requirements and exposure profiles, ensuring a fit-for-task workforce.
- Build Healthy Leadership Capability: Deliver training, advice, and practical tools to managers to support wellbeing, improve recovery practices, and embed health principles into everyday operations.
- Audit, Review and Improve: Lead audits, site inspections, and incident investigations to identify root causes, track corrective actions, and drive health and safety improvements across all locations.
- Champion Health Communication: Drive business-wide awareness of health requirements, legislative changes, and medical standards through clear, accessible communication and representation on health forums.
Your Winning Combination
You'll bring over five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong foundation in injury management and return-to-work coordination. As an accredited Return-to-Work Coordinator, you have the capability to manage complex cases while coaching and influencing both frontline workers and operational leaders. Your qualifications include a Diploma in WHS, OHS or a related field, along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You're known for your strong analytical and reporting skills, and you use data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. With a practical approach and a clear communication style, you ensure health and rehabilitation practices are not only compliant, but effective and well understood across the business.
